Soda

As a devout teetotaler I have tired of attending dinner parties and being relegated to the children’s table with my bottle of Martinelli’s sparkling cider.  I spent countless work lunches appearing antisocial as my clients went on and on about wines and what spirit was best after work.  When sharing my troubles with friends and associates, I found I was not alone.  Something had to be done.

We set out to create a series of beverages that even the finest of palates would choose.

We collected the best ingredients and flavors, scaled back the sugary sweetness, and blended in a little something to make them unique and special.  The result is something that anyone would be proud to speak of in the same sentence as a good cognac or fine wine.

It is time for the tastes we loved when younger, to grow up, just like we did.

Root Beer

A sophisticated blend of grown up flavors, spearmint, licorice, and sassafras root, sweetened with honey.  A good way to end a hard day, or perfect for a party when you still have to show up for work the next day.  Take a trip back to your youth without being childish.

Ginger Ale

A spiced drink that reminds you of far away places and exotic ports.  Strong ginger flavor with orange, lemon, and a bit of spicy heat that makes this a drink to sit down and enjoy.

Kala craft brewed sodas is now available for purchase online and in select cafe’s in Philadelphia.

Hey, I feel your pain. I have spent a lot of time in the lounge or restaurant sipping a Coke with customers and associates imbibing 18 year old single malts and imported beer. Kind of makes one feel like a hick, but I got used to it after all these years.

Sign me up for some of each. It sounds like a great thing to serve adults in lieu of cool-aid!

  9. I’d rather drink Yoo-Hoo than beer. After three or four I feel like I’m snowshoeing on Uranus.
